When in Paris
May 30th, 2015
Paris is beautiful any time of the year, but especially around May when the sun’s out and the flowers are blooming.
We stayed in the most beautiful Airbnb right in the middle of Saint Germain. We were right in the middle of a vibrant neighbourhood with countless restaurants and markets. This was walking distance to Musée d’Orsay, the Louvre, Île de la Cité and the Notre Dame.
I would recommend doing it the Parisian way and popping to the fresh bakery to buy loads of fresh croissants and cakes for breakfast one day…
Jardine Des Tuileries
The Tuileries Garden is a public garden located between the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde. A must visit when in Paris!
We dined in the heart of Parisian nightlife at restaurant 58 Tour Eiffel. Quite a chilled atmosphere, with excellent service and a delicious three-course meal (I would recommend booking a few months in advance for a table).
We also managed to fit in the ‘We Love Green’ Festival held in Le Parc de Bagatelle. The festival usually has pretty big line ups (my fav was Jose Gonzalez), definitely worth checking out who’s playing before and time your trip to Paris around this!
In Paris, it is common culture to eat a lot later than in England. Most restaurants will usually have tiny tables that spill out onto the streets (perfect for people watching)!
Au revoir Paree!
